The Aura of a Girl

In today's context, the word 'Girl' is very genuine yet complicated one. From the very beginning of the life on this planet, women are being mentioned and the Holy book like Ramayana, Geeta, and Mahabharata prove that a woman's part is as solid as a man. We got to learn about so many things about ancient women and from that very time women are also considered as the statue of sacrifices. However, that sacrificing ritual has now modified into an evil one where a woman has to sacrifice her right of living as the way she wants.
From the very initial time, girls are being told about the different layers of life. Begin as a daughter, then a sister, a wife, a mother and finally ending as a grandmother. In each layer of life, directly or indirectly, we are asked to sacrifice, sometimes compromise and abandon.
With education, home, marriage relation, name and sometimes sacrificing our dreams and desire for the sake of happiness of people, we are surrounded by. It might be admissible when we sacrifice with our conformity. But what if we are compelled? How far is it fair? Don't we have right in our own lives? Are women only made living for others by reference to family's pride, dignity, respect and so on?

Let's look into this matter how the evil perception of our modern society is affecting girl's life in today's genre?
A girl's layer isn't the original layer she carries but it is painted by the people surrounding her. Most of the parents expect their first child to be a baby boy. Does anyone try to introspect the reason behind this? Well, the most prominent reason may be because of the matter of pride for people to have a boy as their first child which consider to be more superior than girls and take their generation to next level. But what if a baby girl born first? Disappointment comes first before the christening of a baby girl.
Now if a baby girl enters a family, some so-called responsibilities enter too, according to some so-called grown-up. Even the responsibility of marriage hit the mind first before she starts going to kinder garden. Usually, nobody predicts her future as an engineer, a doctor or some other dextrous profession which generally get predicted for a baby boy when he lands in the family.
In childhood, a girl is fed more with the mentality of being a girl, how to behave, act, walk and dress according to the society than the necessary proteins and vitamins. All these are the circumstances she faces inside and in front of their own people but, the real one she faces outside.
When she turns 15, she starts getting stuck in a groove of comments from Roadside Romeo on her skinny body which become common after some days and she gets compelled to ignore, due lack of moral support and strength.
At the age of 17-18, she is restricted to go out after 6 o'clock in the evening. The awesome restriction only and only for the girls. What not for boys? No matter if they are inferior to girls, they are not being restricted under the light of safety.
At the age of 19-20, She falls in love with a boy who further turns to a person having a problem with her male friends and short dress in public. Pathetically, her own love doesn't give her space and freedom. Is this what she wants from life? This is the point of life when her own decision proves to be wrong.
At the age of 21-22, she goes through molesters and suffers harassment at the public place but yet ordered not to open her mouth under the name of the code of conduct. Ironically, it all happens in our own society. A society where we live, which we made and where women are worshiped for the ancient time. A society where people touch the girl's feet and worship like the goddess during the eve of Navaratri fest.
This is the same society created by us, where everyday rape cases come in contrast, where a study claim that every second girl is being molested, where girls are told to wear Salwar kameez and where parents get tensed if their daughter arrives late at home.
Some girls got acid attack and disfigured, even in our so-called modern society. They then, get compelled to sustain the entire life as hell. Well, all it doesn't mean that the girls are the victim but it just reflects that how people have made the society where girls are insecure and unsafe from our own people.
Does getting mature is a sin? Having a sharp body appearance means we are made for comments? Does going late or coming late at night reflect we have bad influence? If wear short length dress means we are openly inviting boys? Having male friends means we are characterless? If we had past relation means we aren't a virgin? Then what this society is made? Why always are the girls judged?

People are so quick in judging the girls for no reason. Nowadays, the trend of posting about women's rights and girl's security are at its peak on social media. But, what's the reason of talking on social sites if people practically can't reserve the rights and safety? No matter how much people spread awareness about pro women things, it would not stop happening until and unless they take the incentive and initiative practically. Girls do not need a fake respect and support. They just need a pure mentality with deference.
